About the role

​

This is a hands-on and impactful role for a Senior Tax Analyst ready to step into a globally firm. You'll support group-level tax compliance, provision, and planning initiatives, while contributing to process improvements and tax strategy across AU, US, and Canada.

 

Responsibilities include:

​

• Preparing tax returns and compliance documents

• Supporting quarterly and annual tax provision calculations across the group

• Assisting with cross-border tax planning and international transfer pricing

• Responding to audit and tax authority queries with appropriate documentation

• Working with external advisors across GST, PST, and income tax

• Contributing to tax process improvement and SOX compliance

• Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring group compliance

• Supporting M&A activity from a tax perspective

• Working with the wider finance function on yearly reporting

 

Skills & Experience Required​

​

• 4+ years in corporate tax (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)

• Experience across AU and US tax law (CTA or equivalent a plus)

• Strong working knowledge of IAS 12, IFRS, and SEC reporting

• Sharp attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
